Everyone wants to have continuous crowds at their booth at a trade show. At HPLC 2018, the Agilent booth had those crowds. They invited me to stop crowds by using magic and then to welcome attendees into their booth to see their latest products.
Inviting me to to perform magic and give presentations is a fantastic way to stand out from other booths at the trade show. At this trade show, one of the speakers helped boost our popularity even more. Simone Dimartino was on the bill to talk about how to 3D print your own chromatography column. He came to our booth and took the above photo while I was building a crowd. He then added the photo to his slides for his presentation.
Simone started his talk for a few hundred people by mentioning that he would have to be a magician to include everything that he wanted to discuss within the 60 minutes. He also mentioned that I was performing magic at the Agilent booth and that people should stop by to be amazed.
This is the type of organic marketing that money can’t buy. At the end of his talk, we were swarmed with new attendees who hadn’t yet visited our booth. This helped drive even more traffic because those attendees started bringing their friends over to our booth.
This also gave me the added bonus of being recognized as the Agilent magician throughout the convention. People said hi to me in restaurants, in the elevator, in the hallways, and even in the bathroom. For those three days, I was the ambassador for our brand and reminded people of the positive experience they had in our booth.
I would love to bring this type of buzz to your booth. Click here to get in touch to set up a free consultation. We will go over your goals and discuss how we can work together to increase your ROI.
P.S. Here’s another fun shot taken by Simone as I’m about to start performing the cups and balls. This is one of my favorite routines to finish off a set since I can easily perform this for a crowd of 30 – 40 attendees.
